Catholic Land Movement Conference
Come together with fellow Catholics in Southern Ontario who are drawn to living their faith on the land. This is the first Catholic Land Movement conference in Canada.
The day will feature:
- Two keynote presentations: The Church and the Land: Providence and the Path to Heaven (John Paul Meenan) and Catholic Solidarity”(Father Brendan McGrath)
- Practical sessions on the “Why, Art, and How” of growing and preserving your own food, looking to next year’s growing season
- Three breakout sessions to build real, practical skills: In-Town Gardening, Food Preservation, and Building Raised Beds
- Pre-conference preparation questions to follow upon registration via email to help you make the most of these sessions
- Fellowship, prayer, and connections with like-minded Catholics all day
Whether you are an experienced homesteader or just beginning to explore rural living, you will find inspiration and community here.
