Annual Wojtyla Conference

This year’s theme is ‘Be Not Afraid’: The Church’s Call to Mission in a Post-Christian World. Inspired by St. John Paul II’s constant exhortation “Be not afraid,” this theme focuses on the Church’s mission in our time of cultural upheaval and secularization. The Institute will explore how families, parishes, and those engaged in the intellectual life can respond with renewed apostolic zeal in our post-Christian age. The keynote speaker will be His Grace, Archbishop Marcel Damphousse. While this event is officially designated a teachers’ institute, all are welcome–educators, students, clergy, and lay faithful alike–who desire to deepen their understanding of Catholic education and culture. Each talk also includes opportunities for dialogue and networking with the lecturers and your fellow attendees.
Come be rejuvenated and inspired by Catholic speakers, prayer and community at this 3-day conference in the beautiful setting of the Madawaska Valley on the shore of Lake Kamaniskeg – the ‘lake of shining water’ – in Barry’s Bay, Ontario, Canada.
