Britain, by some miracle of grace, or just plain reason, or likely a mixture of both, voted against euthanasia on September 11, 2026, albeit by a close margin: 286 against, and 270 in favour.
Meanwhile, Canada remains mired in the culture of death, MAiD fully legal and publicly funded for any kind of ‘unbearable’ suffering, even if death isn’t imminent. As things now stand, this will be expanded to the ‘mentally ill’ as of March of next year, 2027, which means will be given to anyone, for pretty much any reason. It’s open season on everyone going through a rough patch.
Tamara Jansen has put forward a Bill to stop this, C-218, which will be voted on tomorrow, October 7th, the feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, which was instantiated by Pope Saint Pius V after a miraculous defeat of the Muslims at the Battle of Lepanto.
We can win this, again, if grace and reason prevail, under Our Lady’s mantle.
