U.S. President Barack Obama and his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton have upped the ante in pushing their “gay rights” agenda on the world. On December 5, 2011, Obama set forth his plan for the United States to police other nations where homosexuality is not promoted. The White House statement is called the Presidential memorandum: International initiatives to advance the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons.
In the introduction to the multi-section document, Obama explains that he has already instructed agencies “engaged abroad” to start “taking action to promote the fundamental human rights of LGBT persons everywhere.”
Specifically, the plan is to intervene in other nations where the homosexual lifestyle is opposed by the people and the government. This would happen through U.S. embassies and agencies that would “strengthen existing efforts to effectively combat the criminalization by foreign governments of LGBT status or conduct and to expand efforts to combat discrimination, homophobia, and intolerance on the basis of LGBT status or conduct.”
Further, any LGBT person who wants special access to the United States will be accommodated. Obama explains: “In order to improve protection for LGBT refugees and asylum seekers at all stages of displacement, the Departments of State and Homeland Security shall enhance their ongoing efforts to ensure that LGBT refugees and asylum seekers have equal access to protection and assistance.” Federal workers will be trained to help LGBT members in their desires.
The enhancements the U.S. offers for those who support this corrupt sexual lifestyle and others related to it also mean that agencies helping with foreign aid will have to step up their involvement with LGBT interests. The meaning is clear. US overseas aid to Third World countries will be withheld unless the local governments submit to the new American Weltanschauung.
The State Department and other agencies “should strengthen the work they have begun and initiate additional efforts in these multilateral fora and organizations to…counter discrimination on the basis of LGBT status; broaden the number of countries willing to support and defend LGBT issues” and other outreaches. Clinton backs Obama by claiming that, “Being gay is not a Western invention, it is a human reality.” (World NetDaily, Dec. 8, 2011)
Comments from Toronto’s Globe and Mail
The Globe and Mail, Canada’s national pro-abortion, pro same-sex relations newspaper, gives full support to this demonstration of the Ugly American throwing his weight around to promote immorality throughout the world (“Out of the world’s bedrooms,” Editorial, Dec 30, 2011). The daily quotes Hillary Clinton comparing the struggle for “homosexual equality” to the struggle for women’s rights and racial equality, on the grounds that “gay people are born into…every society of the world.”
Alas for Clinton, Obama and Toronto’s Globe and Mail, repeating unproven claims that homosexuals are “born that way” and false claims of homosexual activists that their “movement” is comparable to the legitimate restoration of the dignity of women and races. Because they say it is so, doesn’t make it so.
