John B. Shea
The safer sex illusion
Issue: na | Online: Dec 17, 2003, 21:53 | Other items by this author

One of the most striking phenomena of the culture of death is the world wide epidemic of sexually transmitted disease. It is of paramount importance to realize that this crisis is caused by promiscuous sexual activity. This paper is offered in an effort to help those responsible for spiritual and physical well being of the young to become more fully acquainted wit the relevant medical facts.

Postponing sexual activity until marriage with an uninfected mate is the only realistic way for anyone to be certain of avoiding sexually transmitted diseases. It also precludes the danger of the use of contraceptive pills, and the temptation to have an abortion with its harmful consequences.

Dr. John Shea is a retired diagnostic radiologist and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. He lives in Toronto
